Connecticut Urban Sketchers

Today I finally met up with the CT Urban Sketchers in West Hartford to sketch at the Westfarms Mall.  It was nice to finally meet them!

Old Sturbridge Village

A few weeks ago some friends and I participated in a hearth cooking event at Old Sturbridge Village. As always, I had my sketchbook with me.

Sketching at Hearst Tower, NYC

Yesterday the NYC Urban Sketchers headed to Hearst Tower to sketch the first LEED Platinum certified building in NYC.  Leslie Gordon-Sim kindly gave us access to this remarkable lobby, which also featured an exhibit on the work of Sir Norman Foster.
